Plex recently launched on Xbox One, and it is now available on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. The app lets Plex Pass subscribers stream movies and TV shows from a home server.
Plex on PS4 and PS3
Plex is one of the most popular media center solutions for streaming content over the home network. It is already available on a range of different devices, including PCs, phones, tablets, Smart TVs, and boxes such as Amazon Fire TV and Nexus Player. Plex also recently launched on Xbox One and 360, and here it is for the two PlayStation consoles.

The app supports 1080p resolution and all of Plex’s traditional features such as tons of formats, covers, and much more. The launch of Plex also means that PlayStation 4 finally has a media player.
Plex is available in Europe and the most of Asia right now and will be available on PlayStations in the US in the “near future”.
