Sony’s game streaming service, PlayStation Now, is coming to PlayStation 3 this Tuesday, May 12th. Sony is offering a free 7-day trial for first-time users.
PS Now game streaming
Sony believes that the future of game distribution is streaming, so it acquired Gaikai a few years ago and turned it into PlayStation Now. The subscription service gives you access to a large catalogue of games.
Playstation Now is already available on PS4 and it is coming to PS3 this Tuesday. The monthly subscription price is $19.99 and you can try it for free for 7 days before deciding to go ahead. Games include titles such as Batman Arkham City, Final Fantasy XIII, and the Uncharted games. More games are added regularly (see the video for the May update).
Sony promises to bring Now to more devices soon. The company has already confirmed that its own new 2015 Android TVs as well as Samsung’s 2015 Tizen TVs will support the game streaming service.
