Eizo launches 27" CS270 for graphics & photography

Eizo is expanding its ColorEdge series with a new 27-inch monitor called CS270. It is designed for graphics editing and photography work with its full AdobeRGB coverage.

Eizo is already offering a 23-inch CS230 and a 24-inch CS240. It is now adding a 27-inch CS270 to the line-up, and just like the smaller models it is made for professionals.

The monitor uses a 10-bit IPS panel that ensures accurate color reproduction. It can reproduce the widely-used sRGB color gamut as well as the larger AdobeRGB color gamut used by many photographers. It has a resolution of 2560x1440 pixels. Eizo says that it offers height, tilt, swivel and pivot adjustments, low power consumption, and a flicker-free backlight for reduced eye strain.


Like other ColorEdge monitors, CS270 comes factory-calibrated and incorporates systems to avoid backlight clouding/bleeding issues. You can connect it to PCs with Windows or linux and Macs with OS X through DisplayPort, HDMI or DVI. However, the latter does not support 10-bit colors. There are also two USB connectors.
