Few people have tried virtual reality, but we can assure you that it is pretty incredible. Just read our Oculus Rift DK2 review. Sony also has big plans for virtual reality on PlayStation 4. More than 30 games are currently in development for VR, according to the company.
More than 30 VR games for PS4
If you didn’t already know Sony is bringing virtual reality to PlayStation 4 next year. By strapping on VR glasses, currently called Project Morpheus, you can immerse yourself in the game.

At the E3 gaming conference Sony showcased some of the first VR games for PlayStation. There are currently more than 30 games in development from major and indie studios in genres such as sports, action, music and racing. Not all games will be ready for launch in 2016 but several developers have postponed already-announced games – such as Uncharted 4 – to 2016 which could be related.
Sony says that developers’ experiments have been refreshing and that entirely new types of games not previously thought possible or fun are being developed for VR. Sony is also working on new controllers, such as a gun, that react in-game to your hand movement in the real world. However, it has not been confirmed whether it will be part of the package.
Sony says that project Morpheus will cost "several hundred dollars" when it launches in the first half of 2016. So start saving.
- “We need to convince PS4 owners to spend several hundred dollars to purchase a Morpheus headset, on top of the PS4 they already have,” said Shuhei Yoshida from Sony Worldwide Studios to Wired.
