Philips unveils 32" monitor with DisplayPort & HDMI 2.0

30 Jun 2015 | Rasmus Larsen |

Most manufacturers have launched 4K monitors by now, and as a result, monitors are getting bigger. Philips is now adding a new 32-inch PC monitor with DisplayPort and HDMI 2.0 to its line-up.

One of the few monitors with HDMI 2.0

With its new monitor Philips hopes to please professionals working in design, graphics or photography, but the monitor might also interest people looking for a general-purpose 4K display.

Philips BDM3275UP has an IPS panel with a resolution of 3840x2160 pixels. It can be connected via DisplayPort, D-SUB (VGA), DVI or HDMI 2.0 that most TV-related devices use to enable 4K at 60Hz.

The new monitor is the third with 4K from Philips, and an extension of a line-up that already includes 28" and 40" models. The IPS panel has a 4 ms (g2g) response time and 10-bit colors. The LED backlight is flicker-free and the stand offers height, swivel and titles adjustment.

Philips BDM3275UP will launch in Europe in July. No pricing details were announced.
