Apple owners have had exclusive access to HBO Now for a few months but HBO is now available to enjoy on Android devices and Fire tablets. It is coming soon to Chromecast, Android TV and Fire TV.

HBO Now comes to more devices

HBO Now is HBO’s stand-alone streaming service and a competitor to Netflix. It launched a little over three months ago and is reportedly off to a great start.

The app for HBO Now is now available to download on Android phones and tables as well as Amazon Fire tablets. It was already available on Apple TV, iPad, iPhone, and through web browsers. HBO says that it is soon coming to Chromecast, Android TV, Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick. There is no word on other devices such as Roku, game consoles, and Smart TVs yet.

The service offers access to all the popular HBO series such as Game of Thrones, Silicon Valley, Veep, and True Detective, as well as movies such as Gone Girl, Horrible Bosses 2, X-MEN: Days of Future Past, and The Maze Runner.

HBO Now costs $14.99 dollars per month and you can try it for free for 30 days at www.hbonow.com.
