HBO Now is expanding and the app is now available on Amazon’s Fire TV box and the Fire TV stick. It should appear on Android TV devices soon, too.
HBO Now on Fire TV
HBO is reportedly off to a great start after an exclusive deal that made it available on Apple devices. The service was launched on Android mobile devices and Chromecast a few months after.

Amazon’s Fire TV devices are the latest to get an app for HBO Now with a full-screen user interface as seen above. HBO has also promised to bring the service to Android TV devices such as Sony, Philips, and Sharp’s 2015 TVs as well boxes such Nexus Player and Nvidia Shield. No plans have been announced for Roku boxes yet.
The stand-alone streaming service launched in April and is currently only available in the US. The company has plans to expand it to more regions but has not announced any concrete plans yet. HBO Now costs $15 dollars per month and has a free 1-month trial here.
