Dell unveils its first G-Sync monitor & 27" curved monitor

Dell will soon release its first gaming monitor after having isolated gaming to its Alienware brand in the past. The 27” 2716DG has 2560x1440 pixels, 144Hz and supports Nvidia’s G-Sync.

Dell in entering the gaming arena with its first monitor designed specifically for gaming. The company has chosen to back Nvidia’s version of an adaptive frame rate system instead of AMD’s. G-Sync ensures that your graphics card and monitor are always in perfect sync to avoid lag and judder.

Dell’s 2716DG gaming monitor will be available on October 20 for $800.

Dell has also announced a very slightly curved 27” monitor. The SE2716H is designed as a minimalistic monitor for all-round use. It has two 9W speakers built in and a slim frame. It will be available on September 15 for $400.
