AOC is adding two new displays to its line-up of so-called “Style” monitors. The new 24 and 27” monitors feature ultra-thin frames and an asymmetric design.
AOC’s new Style monitors
The two new monitors will be available in Europe this month. There are IPS panels inside but the most noteworthy detail is probably the design.
AOC has aimed to create elegant monitors for the desktop. The 24” I2481FXH has a 7,5 mm frame whereas the 27” I2781FH is slightly wider at 9,9 mm.
The monitors are intended for mixed use, including office work. Besides the IPS panel, AOC has opted for 1920x1080 pixel resolution and a flicker-free backlight. Response time is 4 ms, which is low enough for most games. You can connect the monitors to a PC via one of the two HDMI ports or the old-school analog D-SUB (VGA). There is also a headphone port.
The asymmetric stand has a unique look but only offers tilt adjustment. There is no option to adjust height. More specifications are available here and here.
AOC I2481FXH and I2781FH will be available throughout Europe later this month for 179 and 249 Euro.
