Loewe launched its “Reference” series of Ultra HD TVs a few months ago. The company is now adding 75 and 85 inch options to the line-up for 11.500 and 20.000 Euro.

With the Reference series Loewe is going head-to-head with Bang & Olufsen. Despite its financial struggles that eventually led to a strategic partnership with Chinese Hisense, Loewe believes that it can continue to play a role in the market for premium TVs.

The Reference series now consists of 55, 75, and 85 inch TVs. These are Loewe’s high-end TVs with 4K resolution, HDMI 2.0 ports and HEVC decoding, making them capable of reproducing 4K content from various sources.
The new TVs feature Loewe’s “Timeless” design and have integrated 120w speakers below the panel. The audio system uses multiple forward-firing speakers and supports Dolby and DTS. If you connect the TV to a 5.1 surround system the TV can act as a center.

An integrated 1TB hard drive allows you to record TV shows, and the triple-tuner enables you to start recording while watching something else. The triple tuner also speeds up the time it takes to change between channels. You can initiate recordings from your phone and stream recordings to other Loewe TVs in your house. A new operating system, Assist Media 2015, offers access to services such as Netflix and YouTube.
Reference 75 and 85 TVs are available in Europe now for 12.000 and 20.000 Euro, respectively. You can select from Black, Aluminum silver, high-gloss white, and dark gold.
