Roku will discount some of its boxes for Black Friday but the company is also introducing a new low-end box called Roku SE. It will be available the day before Black Friday for $25.
Roku SE supports 1080p
The price tag on Roku SE is $25 and you will be able to pick it up from Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, Kohl’s and Roku’s own website starting November 26 – the day before Black Friday.
The small streaming box looks a lot like the $50 Roku 1 and has the same technical capabilities, including 1080p HD support and access to the 3000 apps in Roku’s store. It connects to a TV via HDMI and to the interview via WiFi. It runs the new Roku OS 7.

It appears that the $25 price tag on Roku SE is a promotion for Black Friday. The company says that it has “limited supply”.
Roku also recently launched its first 4K player called Roku 4.
