Sony announced that it will release the PlayStation VR headset in October for $400. Starting today, you can pre-order a PlayStation VR bundle that includes the headset, two Move controllers, a camera and a game for $500. The PlayStation VR headset alone will be available for pre-order on March 29.
PlayStation VR pre-orders
The PlayStation VR headset requires a PS4 console and a camera but all-in-all it is still significantly cheaper than the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive headsets.

You can reserve your PlayStation VR “Launch Bundle“ for $500 starting today March 22 at 7AM PT from partners such as Best Buy and GameStop.
Besides the VR headset and headphones the bundle includes two Move controllers, the camera, and a “PlayStation VR Worlds” game. You will also receive a free “Playroom VR” digital download.
The PlayStation VR headset without the extras will be available for pre-order on March 29 at 7AM PT for $400.
Sony says that the bundle will be available in ”limited quantities” in the US for $500 and in Canada for $700 CAD. Nothing has been announced for Europe. Sony says that there will be “another wave in the summer”. More information is available on playstation.com.
