Philips has in recent years added several features to its Ambilight system and to celebrate Euro 2016 the company has released a new Ambilight feature to light up your wall with your national team’s colors.

A few years ago, Philips switched to using LEDs for Ambilight in TVs. The LEDs have allowed Philips to add a stream of new features, including lots of constant colors, new dynamic light shows, and an Ambilight game mode. Philips Hue integration was also added recently.
The company is now adding another Ambilight feature to celebrate UEFA Euro 2016. Football fans can with the help of an app for iOS and Android select their national team’s colors and have them projected onto the wall. Ambilight can also react to goals.
The new Ambilight feature works on Philips Smart TVs from 2012 and onwards. To get started you just need to download the free app for iOS or Android.
