Philips "3-in-1" TV
We first saw the small TV, now renamed to 5231, in February. Starting next month, it will be available in stores throughout Europe. With the product Philips has aimed to create an affordable solution for both video and music playback.

The screen is relatively small with its 24-inch LCD panel so Philips imagines that it will fit in a kitchen, bedroom, boat or summer home. It is not clear if it can run on 12V. The base has an integrated 16W speaker that you can stream music to from a phone or tablet via Bluetooth.
- "It's a small TV - but picture and sound quality is excellent. Whether you want to stream music from your smartphone, watch TV or connect it to your laptop," said Mads Neumann product specialist, Philips TV. ”And it is white: a color that fits virtually into any environment while adding a fresh and modern look."

Inside it has a Full HD LCD panel as well as two HDMI inputs with full CEC support for controlling connected devices. It also has a USB port for connected a camera, USB stick or USB hard drive as well as TV tuners and a CI slot for encrypted channels. The TV weighs a total of 4.4 kilograms.
