Loewe has renamed its TV ranges to ‘bild’ – German for ‘picture’ – and with the new bild 3 the company is introducing a more affordable line of Ultra HD LCD TVs.
Loewe bild 3 series
Loewe is planning to launch two OLED ranges dubbed bild 7 and bild 9. The more affordable bild 3 is a more traditional LCD TV.

Loewe bild 3 comes in three sizes (40, 48 and 55”); all with Ultra HD resolution and edge LED backlight. Inside you have the latest software platform and 2x 40W speakers that are tweaked for movies as well as music, says Loewe. There is also a 5.1 surround decoder built-in, 4 HDMI inputs, 3x USB, bluetooth, and 4K-capable TV tuners. More specifications are available here (in German).
The TVs do not come equipped with hard drive for recording TV shows but you can connect an external USB hard drive to enable the feature. Besides that, bild 3 offers many of the classic Loewe features, including “follow-me”, apps, and Loewe App support. The follow-me feature allows you to record a TV show on your living room TV (must support follow-me server functionality), pause it, and then continue on your bedroom TV.
As always, Loewe is offering a range of stand options for you to select from. 40” bild 3 starts at 1690 Euro, 48” bild 3 at 2190 Euro, and 55” bild 3 at 2.590 Euro. The TVs are available in Germany and will come to other European markets later.
