At CES 2017 Samsung unveiled its latest soundbar in the form of MS750. Unlike most other high-end soundbars this one has the subwoofer integrated to “de-clutter the home”, says Samsung.

The MS750 soundbar supports “UHQ 32-bit audio” and has “up-firing capabilities” but does not support next-generation audio formats such as Dolby Atmos and DTS-X.
That is strange partly because Samsung already offers Atmos-capable soundbars, partly because Atmos seemed to be everywhere at CES.
Nevertheless, Samsung says that the soundbar should deliver powerful sound.
- “The new MS750 Soundbar is Samsung’s first soundbar to embed subwoofer performance directly into the primary unit. This ensures that the bass is equalized and crystal clear, while simultaneously de-cluttering the home. With UHQ 32bit audio, the MS750 delivers powerful home cinema sound on premium TVs, without the need for a separate subwoofer,” the Korean company said.
The MS750 soundbar has a “one body” design that can be mounted onto your TV. It is designed to complement the new “QLED” LCDs.
It also features HDMI CEC controls, allowing you to turn it on and off with the TV, “simply by connecting the two units with a designated power cable connection, eliminating the need for two separate power cables, and removing clutter around the TV”.
The Samsung MS750 soundbar will available later in 2017. The company did not announce a specific timeframe or pricing details.
