Xbox One X vs. PlayStation 4 Pro - specifications

12 Jun 2017 | Rasmus Larsen |

Microsoft has unveiled Xbox One X that will compete head-to-head with Sony PlayStation 4 Pro. In this specifications table you can compare the two game consoles.

Compare specs: 4K game consoles

We will have to wait a few more months to get our hands on Xbox One X but it looks poised to race past Sony’s PS4 Pro. Both consoles can on paper deliver games in up to 4K HDR but it is more complicated that than.

The specification that the industry prefers to use as an indicator for graphics performance is teraflops – or tflops. Microsoft claims that Xbox One X with its 6 tflops of performance is 40% faster than PS4 Pro with its 4.2 tflops of performance.
