Apple launches 'TV' app in the UK, France & Germany
Apple is expanding availability of its ‘TV’ app to the UK, France, and Germany. Roughly one year after launch, the app is available in a total of 8 countries.Apple 'TV' app
The ‘TV’ app lets you discover, search, and watch content from multiple services in one unified user interface. Apple says that “over 60 video services” are integrated, including Amazon, iTunes, HBO, and Hulu. Netflix is not yet participating.
The app can be found on Apple TV, iPhone, and iPad, and is now available to users in the UK, France, and Germany.

The ‘TV’ app launched in the US in December 2016 and expanded to Australia and Canada in September 2017. It rolled out in Sweden and Norway with the release of tvOS / iOS 11 in November 2017.Last week, Apple added a live sports section, and Amazon launched its tvOS app that integrates with the ‘TV’ app.
Roughly one year after launch, the app is available in a total of 8 countries. It appears to require Siri and universal search to be implemented first, which suggests that it is coming to Japan, Netherlands, Spain, and Mexico next.
