DC Comics will launch a streaming service dedicated to fans of the super hero universe. It will offer exclusive animated and live action content as well as catalog content.
DC Universe
Last year, Warner Bros and DC Entertainment confirmed that they were working on a new streaming service. The name of the service has now been confirmed and it will be named ‘DC Universe’.
- "DC Universe is a first-of-its kind, immersive digital experience designed just for DC fans,” the company announced.
It will include “unlimited access” to new and exclusive TV series such as Titans, Swamp Things, Young Justice and Harley Quinn. It will also include a back catalog of familiar content. More details will be announced later.

With the launch of DC Universe, the company will try to cut out the middle man and go straight to viewers. Disney, who owns Marvel, is also planning to launch a streaming service after having partnered with Netflix for new Marvel TV shows in recent years.
No launch date for DC Universe has been announced but the companies expect it to open sometime later this year. It has not been revealed how much it will cost. More information will be available on this web page.
