Best Buy will start selling Toshiba Fire TVs created in partnership with Amazon this month, with prices starting at $330 for a 43-inch model.
43 to 55” Fire TVs
Last month, Amazon and Best Buy announced a partnership to sell TVs based on Amazon’s FireTV platform. The TVs will be available in Best Buy’s stores and online on Amazon.
The Toshiba-branded TVs will be sold in 43, 50, and 55-inch sizes with 4K resolution and software support for HDR (High Dynamic Range) – but no hardware to do HDR justice.

The partnership between the two retail giants is in many ways unpredecented and it appears that Roku is the main target here. Amazon wants its FireTV platform to be integrated in as many screens as possible but was late to the party, which has given Roku the opportunity to build a very strong position in the connected TV space. Apple and Google are also competing in the space with tvOS and Android TV.
The new models are now available for pre-order and will start shipping on June 22 for $330, $400, and $480, respectively. Best Buy will launch later Insignia-branded Fire TVs.
