An unannounced Philips OLED934 flagship TV with a Bowers & Wilkins “engineered sound bar” has been leaked on the iF Design Award webpage, first spotted by Toengel.net.

In January 2019, TP Vision unveiled the 2019 Philips OLED803 and OLED854 TV ranges at an event in Amsterdam where the company also teased that it had additional high-end OLED TVs planned for later this year.

It would appear that one of them is OLED934 – also referred to as OLED904. The unannounced TV has won an iF Design Award 2019 and is featured on the organization’s website. The description confirms that it will feature a Bowers & Wilkins “engineered sound bar”. Previously, B&W has been involved in fine-tuning speakers in select Philips TVs but the wording suggests that this one has been engineered from the ground up by B&W.

- “The 2019 904 OLED is designed to communicate ultimate picture quality combined with a high-end audio reproduction visible in the Bower & Wilkins “Engineered Sound Bar”. The unique, minimal stand archetype uses premium materials and finishing to deliver convincing quality and a sense of exclusivity while blending seamlessly into the home, either on the table or wall mounted. The challenge was balancing top of the range technology in a design that communicates the ultimate performance whilst fitting into modern homes; the bespoke Kvadrat speaker cloth is a clear link to modern furniture trends,” the webpage reads.

The soundbar doubles as a base together with a metal support arm on the back of the TV. The picture below also reveals a bulky electronics box and strips of light diodes for the Ambilight mood system.

The already announced Philips OLED854 and PUS9104, the latter designed in collaboration with Georg Jensen, have also received design awards from iF.

This is not the first time that the iF Design Award webpage has leaked unannounced Philips TV. In 2018, the organization revealed the OLED903 flagship TV six months before it was officially announced. And in 2015, the organization leaked two unannounced Philips TVs.

TP Vision is expected to announce new Philips TVs at the IFA 2019 show in Berlin in September.
