It is almost IFA time and EISA has just announced its awards for 2019-2020. OLED TVs take home most of the TV awards.
EISA Awards 2019-2020
As per tradition EISA has removed some categories and introduced others. Last year's 'Best AI TV', 'Monitor Innovation', 'Best Buy LCD TV' and 'Best Premium LCD TV' are gone in favor of 'Best Smart Home TV' and 'Best 8K TV'. There are also new audio categories.

Philips and LG each receive two TV awards while Samsung wins for best 8K TV with its Q950R (Q900R in the US). LG's SM90 is awarded 'Best Smart Home TV' even though it has the exact same smart features as LG's more expensive OLED TVs and more affordable LCD models.
BenQ takes home the award in both projector categories while Pioneer gets an award for the best universal player. As for TV audio products, Sennheiser receives praise for its new Ambeo soundbar with Atmos and DTS:X. The list of HiFi awards is interminable.
