Amazon Music lands on Apple TV
Just days after Spotify arrived on Apple TV, Amazon has announced that Amazon Music is now available on Apple TV HD and Apple TV 4K.Amazon Music for tvOS
The new Amazon Music app for Apple TV offers access to "millions of songs and thousands of playlists and stations". It also supports scrolling lyrics on the TV screen, the company said. - "We believe that listeners should be able to stream music simply and easily on any device they choose," said Karolina Joynathsing, director of business development, Amazon Music. "With that in mind, our aim has been to bring listeners more ways to enjoy their favorite music. We’re thrilled to bring the Amazon Music app to Apple TV customers across the globe."The launch comes just days after Spotify launched an app for Apple TV, significantly expanding the selection of music services on Apple's tvOS platform. Notably, Amazon also launched Twitch for Apple TV earlier this week after years of disagreement between the two giants. Amazon Music users in the US, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, Canada, France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Mexico, Japan, and India can download the app from the Apple TV app store.
