HBO will make almost 500 hours of TV series and movies available for free for a limited time on HBO Now and HBO Go to encourage viewers int he US to stay home.

Starting later today Friday April 3, HBO Now and HBO Go in the US will offer some of its content for free to "provide some entertainment relief for those doing their part to keep everyone safe and healthy in this time of social isolation".
To get started you must download the HBO Now or HBO Go app or visit hbonow.com or hbogo.com. No subscription is required. The content will also be free on participating distributors' platforms in the coming day, the company said.
HBO is not the only entertainment platform to adjust its strategy during these challenging times. Hollywood studios have been forced to make theatrical releases available early for streaming at home to recoup some of the lost revenue from theaters that remain closed across many regions.
