Nvidia GeForce Now loses games from Warner, Xbox Studios, more

21 Apr 2020 | Rasmus Larsen |

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, Xbox Game Studios, Codemasters and Klei are the latest game studios to pull games from Nvidia's game streaming service.

Another four

After losing games from Activision Blizzard, Bethesda and 2K Games in February and March, a new round of terminations have been confirmed. This time from studios behind titles such as Halo, Gears of War, Forza, Batman: Arkham, Mortal Kombat, and Dirt. - "Games from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, XBOX Game Studios, Codemasters and Klei Entertainment will be removed from the service on Friday, April 24. We hope they’ll return in the future," the company said in a statement.

Games missing from GeForce Now

Nvidia launched GeForce Now in February 2020 as a $5/month game streaming service that links to existing game storefronts such as Steam, Epic and Uplay. This allows you to stream PC gamers over the internet to the big screen via an Nvidia Shield box. On the other hand GeForce Now has added Ubisoft's complete Assassin’s Creed and Far Cry series to the library. In an announcement, Ubisoft is pledging full support to Nvidia's game streaming initiative. - "Ubisoft fully supports Nvidia's GeForce Now with complete access to our PC games from the Ubisoft Store or any supported game stores," said Chris Early, SVP of partnerships at Ubisoft. "We believe it’s a leading-edge service that gives current and new PC players a high-end experience with more choice in how and where they play their favorite games." - Source: Nvidia
