Sony's high-end 2020 4K OLED & LCD TVs now available

Sony's new high-end A8H (A8) OLED TVs and X950H (XH95) LCD TVs with 4K resolution are now available in the US and Europe.

A8H (A8 in Europe) replaces last year's A8G (AG8) and now comes complete with features like Apple AirPlay 2 and HomeKit as well as support for Dolby Atmos. Last year, the company reserved such features for its more costly 9-series OLED TVs.

X950H (XH95) replaces last year's X950G (XG95) as the new top 4K LCD TVs. They will be available in sizes ranging from 49 to 85 inches with full array local dimming (FALD) and Sony's wire viewing angle technology. X950H supports various HDR formats, including Dolby Vision.



In 2020, a Sony OLED TV starts at $2300 in the US and €2100 in Europe for a 55-inch model. The company's top 4K LCD starts at $1000 in the US and €1300 in Europe for a 49-inch model. Full pricing details are available in the table below.

Later this year, Sony will launch its first 48-inch OLED TV (A9). It will also launch new 8K LCD TVs as part of the Z8H (ZH8) range and launch X900H (XH90), its first 4K model with HDMI 2.1.

Sony A8H (A8) OLED TVs and X950H (XH95) are available now in the US and most European countries, with wider availability to follow in the coming weeks.
