Disney+ to launch in eight more European countries in September

23 Jun 2020 | Rasmus Larsen |

Disney+ will launch in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Portugal, Belgium, Iceland, and Luxembourg on September 15.

Eight more countries

Disney+ is already available in parts of Europe and on September 15, 2020, it will expand to eight more countries across Europe for 7 Euro per month (69 NOK/SEK, 59 DKK) or 70 Euro per year (689 NOK/SEK, 589 DKK). The original plan was to launch in at least some of these regions over the summer but the company postponed it to September. Like Disney+ in existing regions, the streaming service will include access to Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm (Star Wars), and National Geographic. It will also offer originals like The Mandalorian.

Disney+ Denmark

Content will be available in up to 4K Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. Disney+ supports offline viewing, 4 simultaneous streams, and other features. Apps are available for popular TV platforms like Android TV, Apple TV, LG webOS, and Samsung Tizen. You can learn more about Disney+ here or on your regional section of disneyplus.com.
