Beginning today, September 22, Microsoft and partners will officially start accepting pre-orders for Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S.
Xbox pre-orders
Sony and partners started taking pre-orders last week and today, September 22, you will be able to pre-order a next-gen Xbox console. Pre-orders go live at 8am local time in the US, Canada, UK, Australia, and New Zealand. In Europe, pre-orders go live at 9.00 CEST.
Prices and dealers:
Xbox Series X – $500/€500 (Amazon.com, Amazon.co.uk, Amazon.de or xbox.com)
Xbox Series S – $300/€300 (xbox.com)
Xbox Wireless controller (white) – $60
Xbox Wireless controller (black) – $60
Unlike the PS5, there are significant differences between the two new Xbox consoles. Besides design and size, Series S has less GPU power, less RAM, and less storage space. Series S does not come with a disc drive either. See the specs table below.
Xbox Series X and Series S will start shipping in 37 countries on November 10, and 41 countries "by this holiday".
