The Apple TV app is now available globally on Chromecast with Google TV, with more Android TV and Google TV powered device to follow in the coming months.

If you own the new Chromecast with Google TV, you can now access Apple TV+ shows like Ted Lasso and For All Mankind, the iTunes movies catalog, and Apple TV channels.
- "Starting today, the Apple TV app, including Apple TV+, is now globally available on the new Chromecast with Google TV, with more Google TV devices to come. To access the Apple TV app, navigate to the Apps tab or the apps row in the For you tab," said Google.

In the US, Apple's original content will also show up in your personalised recommendations and search results. You can also use Google Assistant voice commands to open the app or find Apple's original titles or add them to your Watchlist.
The app shows support for 4K resolution, Dolby Vision HDR, and Dolby Atmos.

Google said that the app is also coming soon to Android TV devices as well as other Google TV devices.
- "In addition to Chromecast with Google TV, the Apple TV app will also be available on Google TVs from Sony and TCL. We plan to roll out to more Android TV-powered devices in the coming months."
