Amazon's free, ad-supported streaming service, IMDb TV, is now available on LG webOS TVs (2018+), PlayStation 4, Nvidia Shield, and more devices.
IMDb TV expansion
IMBb TV came to Roku, Xbox and some Android TV / Google TV devices last month, and this week it is rolling out to even more devices.
The company announced that the app is available on LG webOS TV but, as usual, only later webOS generations from 2018 forward, meaning models like LG B8 and C8 or newer. LG is not providing webOS updates to existing TVs.

The app is also rolling out to PlayStation 4, Nvidia Shield and the Tivo Stream 4K set-top box.
IMDb TV is a free ad-supported video streaming service that competes with The Roku Channel, Pluto TV, Tubi, and other services.
It is currently available only in the US. Amazon announced plans to bring it to Europe in 2019 but it failed to materialize at that time. In late 2020, reports surfaced that Amazon is still planning to launch IMDb TV internationally.
