18 months after the service launched, Google Stadia is finally coming to Google's TV platforms. The news was announced by the company today.

Google Stadia will soon be supported on Google TV and Android TV
Google also said that it will be supported on compatible Android TV devices including Nvidia Shield, Hisense, Philips, Xiaomi, and Onn. It is expected to reach more Android TV brands and devices in the future.
- "As for Android TV OS devices not on this list, you can opt into experimental support to play Stadia. While this feature is still in development and not every Android TV OS device will work perfectly, you can now try out Stadia and play your favorite games on more screens than ever before," the company said.
To get started you need the Stadia Controller or a compatible Bluetooth controller. You will be able to install the Stadia app from the Google Play store starting June 23.
