Amazon has released a software update with Apple AirPlay 2 and HomeKit support for 2020 Toshiba Fire TVs and 2020 Insignia Fire TVs.
AirPlay in entry-level TVs
Like Dolby Atmos, Apple's AirPlay 2 and HomeKit are now widely available from entry-level to high-end TVs. The two features were first introduced in third-party TVs from leading manufacturers in 2019.
AirPlay 2 lets you push videos, photos, music and other content wirelessly from an iPhone, iPad or Mac to the TV.

Apple's TV features are supported on Amazon Fire TV
Amazon said that the TVs can also be added as HomeKit accessories (TV Settings -> Display & Sounds -> HomeKit), which lets users speak simple commands to Siri on an Apple device such as "Hey Siri, turn on the TV" or "Hey Siri, mute the TV".
Amazon's TV services made their debut on Apple's devices in 2017 and Amazon Fire TV devices gained the Apple TV app in 2019 after the two companies had reconciled their relationship.
The features are rolling out now to 2020 Toshiba Fire TVs and 2020 Insignia Fire TVs.
