Samsung has announced a massive 98-inch version – one of the largest TVs on the market – and a smaller 43-inch version of its QN90A 'Neo QLED' LCD TV.
Big and small
In addition to its new larger Frame and Serif TVs, Samsung is adding new sizes to its high-end 4K LCD range. QN90A is already available in 50, 55, 65, 75, and 85 inches in the US and Europe, and will soon be available in 43 and 98 inches in the US.
- "Samsung’s award-winning Neo QLED QN90A 4K flagship display will now be available in new 43”, 50” and 98” sizes. These new screens, which join the existing lineup of 55”, 65”, 75” and 85” models, make for a portfolio that delivers the ultimate performance—while also appealing to the diverse needs of consumers," announced Samsung North America.

The company confirmed that the 50-inch QN90A will cost $1400 at launch in the US but it did not announce pricing for the 43-inch version or the massive 98-inch screen – expect it to be very costly. Samsung did not comment on its plans for Europe either. It is also unclear if the 43-inch will have the same specifications as the larger versions as Samsung sometimes uses 50/60Hz panels in its smaller LCD screens.

The 98-inch QN90A LCD TV will be one of the largest TVs available on the market and Samsung is looking to further expand its line-up of ultra-large TVs. It is currently selling a 110-inch microLED TV for $155,000 and has a 99-inch version planned for 2022. South Korean arch rival LG's largest 4K OLED TV comes in at 83 inches while 8K OLED tops out at 88 inches.
