Panasonic has announced that Disney+ is now available on some of its Smart TVs in Australia, Canada, Europe, Latin America, and New Zealand. It supports 4K Dolby Vision.
Disney+ on Panasonic TVs
It took a while but Disney+ is now finally accessible directly on newer Panasonic Smart TVs. The app is rolling out this week.
- "Panasonic has confirmed that Disney+ is now available on 4K Panasonic TVs released from 2017 onwards which feature the My Home Screen operating system. On compatible TVs the Disney+ app icon will become visible in the Application view, allowing viewers to enjoy Disney+ content with the “true to the creators’ intent” picture quality Panasonic is known for."

Disney+ is now available on Panasonic OLED and LCD TVs
The app is compatible with Panasonic TVs from 2017 onwards running the My Home Screen platform (EZ, EX, FZ, FX, GZ, GX, HZ, HX, JZ, and JX models). The app does not work on 2015 and 2016 Panasonic Smart TVs as the company is not providing major OS updates for its TVs. Disney+ was already available on Panasonic Android TVs.
The app supports streaming in up to 4K resolution with Dolby Vision HDR. Dolby Atmos audio does seem to work for some titles but support appears to be at little spotty right now. Atmos is not supported.
Panasonic's Disney+ app is supported in the following regions/countries: UK, Ireland, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxemburg, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Sweden, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Latin America.
Disney+ offers access to content from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, and in some regions Star, a new general entertainment brand with content from 20th Century Studios, FX, Searchlight, and more.
