Sky Glass TVs unveiled: "No satellite dish, no box, no fuss"

Sky Glass will stream Sky channels as well as content from partners such as BBC iPlayer, Netflix, Disney+, ITV Hub, and All4. The 4K LCD TVs will be based on Comcast's Smart TV operating system and will be available in 43, 55, and 65 inches. - "For the first time in the UK, you can now get Sky TV over WiFi, with no satellite dish, no box and no fuss," the company said. Sky in the UK is planning to sell the Glass TVs much like it sells set-top boxes. You can either pay upfront – £650, £850 and £1050 – or monthly as part of your Sky TV subscription plan. A £10/month Sky Puck streaming box with HDMI will let you watch the services on TVs in other rooms of your home.These are fairly conventional TVs – 4K LCD panel with an FALD LED backlight and quantum dots – with support for HDR10 and Dolby Vision, but the sound system packs more punch. There are six built-in speakers (one subwoofer) on the sides, bottom and top (up-firing) with Dolby Atmos support and a total output of 215W. The TVs supports 4K HDR streaming. They also come bundled with a microphone-enabled remote control for hands-free voice commands to Sky's assistant. You will be able to switch HDMI inputs and more.
