Once again, only owners of a recent LG Smart TV will get access. The companies confirm that Discovery+ will be available on 2018-2021 Smart TVs including LG's OLED and LCD models, despite 2014-2017 LG models also running webOS.
There was no word on Discovery+ availability on LG TVs in regions outside the US.
- "We are thrilled to expand the availability of discovery+ and provide LG customers a direct and easy way to stream our much-loved brands, series and talent," said Gabriel Sauerhoff, SVP, Digital Distribution & Commercial Partnerships, Discovery.
