The Disney+ app is now available on Hisense and Toshiba TVs powered by the latest version of Vidaa operating system, the companies announced this week.
Disney+ on Vidaa
Vidaa is a Linux-based smart TV operating system that was originally developed by Hisense. It is now managed by an independent company and Vidaa has started appearing in TVs from other brands including Toshiba and Loewe.
Vidaa can soon close a large gap with the addition of a Disney+. The app is rolling out now to Hisense and Toshiba TVs with the latest firmware version, according to the announcement. It is not entirely clear but "lately" most likely refers to Vidaa version 4.0 or 5.0.

Disney+ supports streaming in up to 4K Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos but it has not been confirmed if the highest streaming quality is supported on Vidaa.
Disney+ is already available on most competing TV platforms including Android TV, Amazon FireTV, Android TV, and Roku.
