Sonos has released a software update (13.4) to enable DTS Digital Surround on select soundbars and other products. The update also introduces a couple of other new features.
DTS audio on Sonos
Sonos has traditionally supported only Dolby's audio formats. That is about to change as Sonos is rolling out support for DTS Digital Surround.
DTS Digital Surround is the most basic DTS audio format for surround sound – an alternative to Dolby Digital. You will find DTS audio on some DVD and Blu-ray discs but most streaming services use Dolby formats. Sonos has not commented on plans to support more advanced DTS formats like DTS-HD and DTS:X.

Sonos Playbar from 2013 is one of the speakers to gain DTS support
DTS Digital Surround is supported on Sonos Arc, Beam (both generations), Playbar, Playbase and Amp on the S2 platform. You can check the Sonos mobile app's 'Now Playing' screen to see which audio format you are currently getting.
Software update 13.4 will also introduce a couple of other new features as detailed below. Amazon Music's Ultra HD and Dolby Atmos Music will come "soon"
