Amazon's free, ad-supported streaming service, IMDb TV, is rolling out on Samsung Smart TVs from 2017 and later. Models from 2015 and 2016 are excluded.

The IMDb TV app is available now on 2019-2021 Samsung Smart TVs and will soon be available on 2017-2019 models too, Amazon said.
IMDb TV provides free, ad-supported access to a library of movies, series, and documentaries. The streaming service is available in the US and the UK, and will expand to more regions later.

Samsung 2015 and 2016 models are not compatible despite running the same Tizen operation system as newer Samsung TVs. Samsung is not bringing major Tizen updates to its Smart TVs so your TV is stuck on the version of Tizen that it came with.
The IMDb TV app is also available on Fire TV, Android TV / Google TV devices, Roku, PS4, Xbox, and other platforms.
