In 2012 and 2013 when LG launches its first OLED TVs, Samsung also launched its take on the new display technology. The South Korean giant eventually abandoned the project due to high production costs.
Fast forward 10 years and Samsung is once again introducing OLED TVs. The S95B will represent new high-end TVs and sit alongside Samsung's high-end "Neo QLED" LCD TVs in the 2022 TV line-up.
- "Furthering the concept behind “screens everywhere, screens for all,” Samsung expands its 2022 portfolio with the introduction of Samsung OLED (S95B), giving viewers even more flexibility to choose the technology suited to their needs and preferences, the company announced.
