The new five-episode natural history series Prehistoric Planet, produced by BBC Studios Natural History Unit, will debut globally on Apple TV+ as a week-long event from May 23-27.

BBC has produced and David Attenborough has narrated some of the world's greatest and most beloved nature documentaries. The next one will show up on Apple TV+ and it even features an original score by Hans Zimmer.

"The five-episode groundbreaking series will transport viewers 66 million years in the past to discover our world — and the dinosaurs that roamed it — all in stunning detail and set to an original score by multiple Academy Award winner Hans Zimmer."
Prehistoric Planet is set to debut globally on Apple TV+ with a new episode daily from Monday, May 23 through Friday, May 27. Like all other Apple TV+ titles, we expect it to be available in 4K Dolby Vision and possibly Dolby Atmos too.
Apple's video streaming service has been on a roll lately with Ted Lasso winning a 2021 Emmy for the best comedy series and CODA winning a 2022 Oscar for best picture. The company recently announced that it is also getting into live sports programming, a category that Netflix has hesitated to invest in.
Apple TV+ available from within the Apple TV app on Amazon Fire TV, Android TVs, Apple TV, Google TV, many Smart TVs, Roku, game consoles, and other devices.
Apple TV+ has a free 7-day trial after which it costs $5 per month.
