Announced in mid-July, Amazon's redesigned Prime Video app came first to Android TVs and Smart TVs and is now also rolling out on Apple TV, Roku, Xbox and other devices.
It is a gradual rollout and appears to be a server-side change rather than an app update so you must wait for your turn to get the redesigned Amazon Prime Video experience that looks a lot like Netflix.
It seemingly came first to Android TV, Fire TV and various brands of Smart TVs, then Xbox and a couple of other platforms. This week, users started seeing it on Apple TV and Roku. FlatpanelsHD has received it on Apple TV and Android TV devices, but for some reason not our Google TV devices.

The redesigned app is a significant improvement over the old one in terms of navigation and look, but it is still quite slow based on our experience.
Amazon is rolling out the big update globally and it should have reached most active TV devices by the time The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power premieres on September 2, 2022.
Have you received the update and on which device(s)?
