Apple has today launched the 2022 Apple TV 4K with a new lower starting price of $129. It is driven by the A15 Bionic chip and comes in two configurations with up to 128GB of storage for apps and games.
Driven by the A15 Bionic, the new Apple TV 4K has CPU performance that is up to 50 percent faster than the previous generation (A12) while GPU performance is up to 30 percent faster for smoother gameplay in games.
At the same time it consumes "30 percent less power than the previous generation" and the efficiency gains from A15 Bionic eliminates the need for an internal fan, according to Apple.
