Sony's premium streaming service, Bravia Core, will soon gain support for Dolby Atmos. The company also teased major Sony Pictures releases for 2023/2024.
Bravia Core, which is exclusive to Sony TVs, is the first streaming service that can more or less match UHD Blu-ray video quality (but not audio quality) with up to 80 Mbps bitrate 'Pure Stream'.
In addition to some existing Sony models, the Bravia Core app will come preinstalled on all Sony's 2023 models including A95L, A80L, X95L, X90L, X85L, X80L and X75WL. With the purchase of one of the first four models buyers will get 10 movie credits to rent premiere movies and 24 months of access to older library titles. The purchase of a cheaper Sony model gives you 5 movie credits and 12 months of access to library titles.

Sony confirmed at its 2023 launch event that select movies will get Dolby Atmos audio later this quarter to coincide with the launch of the first 2023 Sony TVs.
The following Atmos titles were highlighted: Venom: Let There Be Carnage, Uncharted, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Jumanji: The Next Level, Bloodshot, The Equalizer 2, Ghostbusters: Afterlife, Morbius, Smurfs: The Lost Village, and Cinderella.
This is in addition to the options of IMAX Enhanced aspect ratio and DTS audio.

Use WiFi, not the LAN port
The bad news? To access the highest quality 80 Mbps bitrate you need a minimum internet speed of 115 Mbps due to overhead, and Sony's 2023 models are still limited to 100 Mbps on the LAN port.
Instead, you must use WiFi or a USB LAN dongle.

Sony also teased some of the Sony Pictures releases coming to Bravia Core in 2023/2024 following the theatrical release.

In
September 2022, Sony added the option to rent and buy movies on Bravia Core in select countries. This option is now available in the UK, Germany, France, Spain, Sweden, and Poland.
