After launching in the US last year, Amazon's game streaming service Luna is now also available in the UK, Germany and Canada on Fire TV and other devices.
Google Stadia is gone but Amazon still has a game streaming, or cloud gaming, service. Luna lets you stream games over the internet directly to a compatible device – no PC or game console required. It is compatible with the Luna Controller, Xbox One controller, DualShock 4 and mouse/keyboard.

A subscription game service
Like Microsoft's Xbox Game Pass with xCloud, Luna is a subscription service where Amazon Prime members have access to a rotating selection of games. A Luna+ subscription (£9 / €10 per month) provides access to games such as Beach Buggy Racing 2: Hot Wheels Edition, and Resident Evil 2.
Ubisoft+ (£15 / €18 per month) provides access to games such as Rainbow Six Extraction, Assassin’s Creed, Watch Dogs, and Far Cry. You can also play select PC games from the Ubisoft store that you have already purchased.
Game streaming is supported in up to 1080p at 60fps SDR.
In the three new countries, Luna is supported on FireTV devices including media players and TVs as well as Windows PC, Mac, Fire tablets, Chromebook, iPhone, iPad and Android phones. LG and Samsung Smart TVs are not listed as compatible devices in the new regions even though there is already Luna apps available in the US.
Amazon has also just launched its 'Omni QLED', 4-series and 2-series TV models in the UK and Germany.
