About a month after the expansion of Amazon's game streaming service Luna in the UK, Germany and Canada, the Luna app has now become available on Samsung Smart TVs.
Amazon says that its game streaming app is compatible only with 2021, 2022, and 2023 Samsung Smart TVs with the Gaming Hub.
- "Players in the U.S. have been enjoying Luna on Samsung Gaming Hub since summer 2022 and we are excited to expand the service giving Samsung TV owners the opportunity to play high-quality immersive games without needing to purchase additional gaming hardware," announced Amazon.

Luna provides access to games through subscriptions. Amazon Prime members have access to a rotating selection of games. A Luna+ subscription (£9 / €10 per month) provides access to games such as Beach Buggy Racing 2: Hot Wheels Edition, and Resident Evil 2.
Ubisoft+ (£15 / €18 per month) provides access to games such as Rainbow Six Extraction, Assassin’s Creed, Watch Dogs, and Far Cry. You can also play select PC games from the Ubisoft store that you have already purchased.
Game streaming is supported in up to 1080p at 60fps SDR. To play you need a decent internet connection and a controller, for example the Luna controller or another compatible Bluetooth controller.
Amazon Luna will also come to select LG Smart TVs later this year.
