Samsung continues to expand its offering of digitalized art on The Frame, this time with the Royal Dog Art Collection depicting the UK monarchy's pets.

To coincide with the coronation of King Charles III, Samsung has licensed 14 pieces of pet artwork form the Royal Collection Trust, a charity organization which oversees the Royal Collection.

Samsung has previously added artworks from Leonardo da Vinci, Vincent van Gogh and Botticelli, including Mona Lisa and The Wedding Feast at Cana.

Like Samsung, LG has also launched 'lifestyle' models with a gallery function and TCL is contemplating launching a competing model to The Frame called Art+ sometime in the future. However, LG and TCL do not offer the same number of wellknown artworks as Samsung's portfolio which currently comprises over 2100 pieces.

The premium artwork requires a £4/month or £40/year subscription to the Art Store on The Frame but there is currently a 2-month free trial.
