Furrion's three new outdoor TVs are alternatives to Samsung's 'The Terrace' outdoor models and are significantly cheaper, starting at $1399 dollars.
The new line-up is called Aurora and comprises three 4K LCD models called 'Sun', 'Partial Sun' and 'Full Shade' in 43, 55, 65 and 75 inches.
The Sun model delivers brightness up to 1500 nits, according to the company, and are rated IP54 wheather-proof. They feature impact-resistant screens and can operate at temperatures of -24°F to 122°F.

The TVs will compete directly with Samsung's The Terrace models that were significantly more expensive at launch starting at $3500 for a 55-inch model. The Terrace delivers up to 2000 nits, according to Samsung.

LG's webOS inside
Besides being a direct alternative to Samsung's models, Furrion has also partnered with Samsung's arch rival LG to offer access to streaming services and other apps through LG's webOS platform.
Furthermore, Furrion's Aurora models support third-party home control systems from Control4, Savant, and Elan.
