In addition to the premium Google TV models launched earlier this year, TCL will for the first time offer TVs based on Amazon's Fire TV platform in the US.
TCL is no longer married to Roku in the US. The Chinese company started offering Google TV models in 2021 and launched a full line-up of Google TV models for 2023.
With the addition of Fire TVs, TCL is further diversifying its line-up.

The new Q6 series (Q650F) of Fire TVs is available in 55, 65 and 75 inches as mid-range LCD TVs with 4K resolution and 60Hz refresh rate.
LCD TVs with direct LED
The TVs support Dolby Vision, HDR10, HDR10+ and HLG but we do not expect true HDR picture quality given the lack of zone dimming in the direct LED backlight.
There are three HDMI 2.0 ports with ALLM and eARC. Dolby Atmos is supported and the chip is capable of decoding HEVC and AV1 video.
Despite being Fire TVs, they also have support for Apple's TV features AirPlay 2 and HomeKit. There is no support for Google's TV features so instead you will have to rely on Amazon Alexa for voice commands.
TCL's Q650F Fire TVs are available now in the US from Amazon starting at $450.
