Netflix has struck a deal with Warner Bros Discovery to make select HBO shows available to stream on Netflix in the US or internationally.
HBO originals on Netflix?
That's a plot twist after Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos in 2013 declared that "the goal is to become HBO faster than HBO can become us".
Band of Brothers, The Pacific
Alle seasons of HBO's Insecure are now available to stream on Netflix in the US, and Netflix confirms that Band of Brothers, The Pacific, Six Feet Under and Ballers will also become available in the US as part of the deal.
HBO's True Blood will be added to Netflix internationally.
Additional titles may follow in the future but this is what has been confirmed so far. The shows will remain available on Max as part of a co-exclusive agreement, reports Deadline.

'Insecure' is still labeled an HBO original on Netflix
Warner Bros Discovery merger
The deal with Netflix comes as a result of Warner Bros Discovery's plan to cut costs to turn to profitability following the $ 43 billion merger of the two media giants.
Other HBO titles including Westworld have been removed entirely from Max. Westworld is now available free with ads on The Roku Channel and Tubi.
